Her career spans over more than 35 years working in a wide variety of community development projects and social security services in nearly all parts of Suriname from Marowijne to Nickerie and from The Atlantic Ocean to the Toemoek Hoemak Mountains. She holds a Master in Business Administration and a Master in Business Economics.

Currently she holds the position of Managing Director of the Algemeen Pensioenfonds in Suriname.
