Raúl is currently the Environmental and Regulatory Manager for ExxonMobil in Guyana, supporting the rapid growth of the Oil and Gas sector over the past 4 years. He has 23 years of working experience in the Energy sector, lived in the Caribbean and Europe and travelled to many different countries during his career. Raúl was born and raised in Suriname and went to the Netherlands to obtain his Master’s degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delft-Netherlands. He had Technical, non-Technical and Managerial roles in his career and more recently fulfilled specialized roles within SSHE.
